MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He next year, released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he also performed an duet with TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano as when he was a child. The first goal was to be an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
